Teachers Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar are all B.Ed. qualified. They also undergo a course on Education In Human Values (EHV), instituted by Sri Sathya Sai Education. This is either a certificate course or a diploma course that trains teachers on guiding children based on the philosophy of the Sathya Sai group of educational institutions.

We also actively strive to upgrade our teachers’ skills and constantly expose them to the latest methods in teaching and learning. The following are some of the recently-held workshops that our teachers attended:

Teachers Training At EFLU

All teachers handling English were sent to a 10-day workshop at the English And Foreign Language University (EFLU, formerly CIEFL), to expose them to newer teaching trends.

Vidya Vahini

On 11 February 2011, the teachers of the school had a special workshop to get exposed to the Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini programme. It was about the integration of lesson plans with human values.
